Same-Day Treatment for Emergencies

Many types of dental emergencies require immediate attention. At SiRa Dentistry, we’re always prepared for our patients’ urgent dental needs. We make it our top priority to get you out of pain as quickly as possible and, in many situations, can begin treatment on the same day as your appointment.

During your emergency exam we will let you know what options you have to treat the issue at hand. When possible, we will also offer alternative treatments so that you can select the best one for your needs or budget. But most importantly, we’ll take steps to get you comfortable.

After-Hours Care by Appointment

We recognize that dental emergencies can occur at any time, including outside of our regular office hours. That's why we offer after-hours care to accommodate our patients who are experiencing true dental emergencies.

What To Do If You Have a Dental Emergency

Contact our office immediately. If your tooth is chipped and you can locate the broken fragment, put it in a cup of milk or saline solution. For knocked-out teeth, gently rinse off any visible dirt but do not touch or rub the root; try to reinsert the tooth if possible but do not force it. If it does not fit back into the socket, you can also store it in a cup of milk or saline and bring it with you to our office.

For pain or swelling, we recommend rinsing with warm salt water and taking Motrin (ibuprofen). However, if the bleeding is severe or the swelling spreads into your face, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
